Robert Weiss
Robert was raised, went to school and lives in New York City.
He has been providing outstanding representation to his clients for nearly 20 years. Mr. Weiss has successfully handled many hundreds of cases from start to finish, in all phases of litigation, including trials and appeals. Mr. Weiss concentrates in personal injury and medical malpractice cases, including false arrest and police brutality. Mr. Weiss has also handled numerous complex and substantial business, real estate and other litigation matters.
Mr. Weiss graduated New York University with Honors and earned his law degree (cum laude) from Cardozo Law School. While in law school, Mr. Weiss held internships with a federal bankruptcy judge in the Eastern District of New York and the United States Attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York. He was also a member of the New Europe Law Review.
Mr. Weiss founded the firm in 1996, after positions with several law firms in New York City.
Mr. Weiss regularly appears in the Courts in all the boros of New York City. In recognition of his skills, other lawyers regularly refer their own cases to Mr. Weiss to handle for trial.
Mr. Weiss is licensed to practice in the State of New York and in the Federal Courts of the Southern and Eastern District of New York. Mr. Weiss is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and regularly participates in lobbying activities in the State Capitol for the organization and his clients’ rights. He has acted as a mentor to new and less experienced attorneys.
Mr. Weiss lives in Brooklyn with his wife and children.
